Amazon Business Overview
Browsing the Catalog
The Amazon Business is organized into Featured Departments, representing the most popular product categories such as Home & Kitchen, Amazon Basics, and Electronics.
Users can:
- Browse departments individually.
- Select View All Departments to explore the full catalog.
- Use pagination to navigate (24 items per page).
Note: The 24-item limit is defined by Amazon’s API integration.
Using the Search Bar
The search bar allows direct product lookup by keyword, brand, or type.
Example: Typing earbuds returns all available matching results.
Each product card displays:
- Item image and title
- Star rating
- Points cost
- Any promotional discount (e.g., “Reduced from 3000 points to 255 points”)
Search results prioritize best sellers and discounted items.
Filtering and Refining Results
Users can narrow product results using filters on the left-hand panel:
- Points filter (e.g., only show products between 750–1500 points)
- Department filter (e.g., Electronics, Amazon Basics)
- Delivery filter (Get it by tomorrow)
- Deals filter (Today’s Deals)
Filters can be cleared individually or all at once. The page reloads to show active selections.
Viewing Product Details
Clicking a product card opens the full detail page.
From here, users can:
- View complete product descriptions and specifications.
- Choose product options (e.g., color or size).
- Adjust quantity before adding to the cart.
- Review delivery estimates based on their location.
Unavailable items are clearly marked and cannot be added to the cart.
Availability depends on both Amazon stock and shipping eligibility for the user’s address or organizational unit.
Managing the Cart and Wishlist
When an item is available:
- Click Add to Cart to reserve it for redemption.
- The Cart icon in the top navigation lets users review or adjust quantities.
- If the user lacks sufficient points, they can click Save to Wishlist instead.
Wishlist progress bars show how many points have been earned toward the selected item. Items remain saved until redeemed or removed.
To manage items:
- Increase/decrease quantity in the cart.
- Remove an item to delete it from the order.
- Saved items remain visible in the Wishlist even if removed from the cart.
Featured Products
At the bottom of the catalog, Featured Products highlight trending or frequently redeemed items.
These are updated automatically and may reflect user preferences or program-level popularity over time.
