How to Send an eCard

eCards let you celebrate colleagues with a personal, creative touch. Choose from themed templates and add your own message to make recognition meaningful.

Steps to Send an eCard

  1. Access recognition options:
    • Click Recognition on the Wall page
    • Or choose the preferred action under Create a Post
  2. Click eCard.
  3. Use Template 
    • Browse the template library by theme (congratulatory, holiday, birthday, thank you, etc.).
    • Select a template and preview both the front and back.
    • Write your personalized message.
  4. Select recipients (add users individually).
  5. Choose to send the eCard publicly or privately.
  6. (Optional) Add points, an image, or GIF for extra personalization. The ability to add points to an eCard is dependent on program configuration and role-based access. 
  7. Click Send eCard to post it to the wall.

Recipients are notified, and others can react or comment  (if it is a public post) on the eCard, turning it into a shared celebration.

Best practice: Use thoughtful, specific messages to make your eCard stand out.

eCard design specifications:

  • Recommended image size: 600 x 400 pixels
  • Front and back: eCards can include both a front design (visible in the feed) and a back design (visible when the eCard is opened) with custom messaging
