How many broadcasts can we create?
There's no limit. Create as many feeds as you need; one per location, department, or audience.
How does a broadcast get onto a TV?
Through a link. Copy the play link from the broadcast card and open it in a browser on the display device. There's no separate app or hardware requirement beyond an internet-enabled screen.
Can we run different feeds in different locations?
Yes. Set the audience per broadcast to scope it to specific locations, or target multiple locations from one feed. Use Duplicate to reuse a configuration and simply change the audience.
What content can appear besides recognition posts?
Birthdays, work anniversaries, and site widgets can be toggled on with individual frequency settings, and you can add custom slides for announcements and events.
Was this feature called something else before?
Yes. Broadcast was formerly known as Recognition Showcase.
Which subscription tier includes Broadcast?
Broadcast is expected to be a Pro-tier feature. Confirm availability and any cost for your program with your Terryberry contact.
Three things before this publishes, in priority order.
Tier and pricing is the open item. Brad said "we were thinking" Pro, and Danny flagged it as his own follow-up. I've written it provisionally in both the intro note and the FAQ. Chase Danny for the resolution; once confirmed, both spots need a one-line update. Given that Broadcast and Mailbox together are what finally create the Pro tier ("right now we really don't have anything past plus"), this answer likely arrives as part of a broader Pro-tier definition — which is also relevant to the master feature list you're chasing from Brad.
Three tabs are documented thin. Custom Slides, Appearance, and Timing are named in the UI but the transcript doesn't detail their fields, and the screenshot only shows the Content tab expanded. I've described them at the level the source supports rather than inventing specifics. Those three need either screenshots or a follow-up with Brad before the article is complete.
The cosmetic-improvements note is a judgment call. Brad was clear that font sizing and display readability are being improved before this is "ready for everybody to start buying for." I included it as a note because an admin setting up a TV feed will notice, and documenting current state is honest. If Danny would rather not surface in-progress limitations in customer-facing docs, it's a clean deletion — but I'd argue it belongs.
