This glossary defines key terms and concepts used throughout the Be Saving platform.

Reference these definitions to better understand discount programs, savings schemes, and benefit redemption features.

Admin: Administrator area for configuring benefits, users, and settings.
Annual Leave Purchase: Salary-deduction scheme to buy extra holidays.

Benalytics: In-depth analytics suite with filters, charts, and exports.
Benefits Hub: Main landing page displaying employer-selected benefit tiles.

Be Recognized: A social recognition tool and redemption platform.
Benefits of Employment: Company-specific perks and policies are listed for reference.

Cancer Cover: Lump-sum insurance payable on an eligible cancer diagnosis.
Categories: Offer groupings (e.g., Fashion, Travel) used for browsing and filters.
Category Summary: Table aggregating engagement by category in Offers & Discounts.
Childcare: Support options such as Tax-Free Childcare and legacy vouchers.
Click-throughs: Count of clicks from the hub to partner sites.
Communications (Eshots): Email campaigns tracked for sends, opens, and clicks.
Compare (Filter): Toggle to compare current data with a previous period.
Contact: Form for submitting support requests to the Be Saving team.
Cycle to Work: Salary-sacrifice programme for bikes and accessories.

Dashboard: Overview page showing spend, savings, and engagement metrics.
Digital Gift Cards: Discounted e-vouchers redeemable online or in-store.
Discount Card: Your scheme Card (if your employer has one) stored in Wallet for redeeming eligible offers. 
Download Export: CSV download of the current Benalytics view.

EAP Helpline: Confidential assistance for personal, legal, and financial issues.
Email Opt-In: User consents to receive marketing or benefits emails.
Employee Saving: Total saved by employees versus the standard retail price.
Employer Saving: Cost savings that accrue to the employer.
Ending Soon: Listing of offers close to expiry.
Export (Tab): Sidebar action to download filtered data as CSV.

 Financial Wellbeing: Benefits supporting budgeting, saving, and responsible credit.

Gift Cards: Physical cards bought at a discount for later spend.
GP Helpline: 24/7 access to licensed doctors by phone or online.

Health Cash Plan: Reimbursement for routine healthcare (dental, optical, therapies).
Health Screening: Preventive health assessments and reports.
Healthy Living: Curated content and campaigns for everyday wellbeing.
Hero Banner: Top promotional section on offer pages.
Hottest: Listing of most-engaged offers.

In-Store Offers: Discounts redeemed at physical locations, often via Wallet/Card.

Launch: Go-live phase materials for programme rollout.
Launch Materials: Pre-launch, Launch, and Post-launch communication assets.
Latest: Listing of newly added offers.
Life Insurance: Policy paying beneficiaries on the insured’s death.
Live Eshots: Count of currently active email campaigns.
Live Schemes: Number of active benefit schemes.
Local Stores: Geolocated in-store offers near a chosen address or postcode.

Marketing Preferences: User settings for email frequency and topics.
Mortgage Advice: Expert guidance on mortgages and protection products.
My Account: Area to manage personal info, location, and preferences.

Offer Card: Card showing brand, headline discount, and quick actions.
Offer Type: Redemption mode (Online, In-Store, Digital Gift Card, Reloadable, Phone).
Offers & Discounts (Tab): Analytics for offer views, clicks, codes, and saves..
Offers Summary: Table listing performance per individual offer.
On the Phone Offers: Savings redeemed by calling a partner and quoting a code.
Opted-In to Emails: Count of users who consented to receive communications.

Page Views: Total pages viewed within a section or the hub.
Personal Accident Plan: Cash benefits for specified accidental injuries.
Profile Preferences: Settings for location, emails, and favourite brands.

Reloadable Cards: Physical cards topped up at a discount for repeated use.
Reward (Be Rewarded): Digital gift card redemption via the recognition platform.

Savings (Tab): Analytics view of spend, employee savings, and employer savings.
Savings Activity: Time-series chart of spend and savings over time.
Savings Data: Table with monthly spend, savings, and average % savings.
Scheme: Employer’s configured benefits programme.
Scheme ID: Four-digit identifier used for registration/access.
Search Bar: Field to find offers by brand, product, or keyword.
Single Sign-On (SSO): Employer-managed login for direct access.
Spend: Total value of purchases driven through the hub.
Supplier: Retailer or partner providing an offer.
Suppliers Summary: Table comparing performance across partners.

Tile: Clickable entry point to a benefit category or scheme.
Tile Landing Page: Detail page explaining the benefit and next steps.
Time Period (Filter): Date range selector in dashboards and Benalytics.
Top Category: Highest-engagement benefit category for the selected period.

Unique Visits: Count of distinct users in a time period.
Users Tab: Benalytics view for registrations, opt-ins, and access channel mix.
User Activity: Graphs tracking registrations, sessions, and notifications.

V

Vectis Card: Digital card used to validate and redeem certain in-store offers.
Visits: Sessions started by users in the hub.

W

Wallet: Personal area for saved offers and discount cards.
Ways to Save: Explainer of redemption formats across Lifestyle Savings.
Wellbeing: Hub area and analytics for health and wellness content.
Wellbeing Activity: Time-series chart of wellbeing page views and visits.
