Question Types
Choose the question type that best matches the insight you're trying to gather, whether it's measuring sentiment, understanding preferences, or collecting detailed qualitative responses.
eNPS
Measures employee sentiment and satisfaction. Respondents rate their likelihood to recommend the organization on a 0–10 scale. Scores divide into Promoters (9–10), Passives (7–8), and Detractors (0–6). Best for periodic check-ins and overall sentiment tracking.
Retention
Assesses how long employees expect to stay with the organization. Responses cover ranges such as 0–6 months, 6–12 months, or 4+ years. Helps predict turnover risk and reveal retention factors.
Single Choice
Respondents select one option from a predefined list. Best for questions where only one answer can apply, such as yes/no or choosing a single category.
Multi-Select
Respondents select multiple options from a list. Best for capturing a full range of preferences or experiences where more than one answer is relevant.
Ranked
Respondents order options based on importance or preference. Helps identify the most critical factors driving satisfaction or priorities within a group.
Likert Scale
Measures attitudes or opinions across a scale (commonly 1–5). Used to capture levels of agreement or intensity of feeling about workplace culture, leadership, or initiatives.
Written Response
Open-text responses allow employees to give detailed feedback or explanations. Best for qualitative insights, follow-ups, or complex topics.
Scale
Respondents rate items numerically, such as 1–10. Best for quantifying satisfaction or gauging initiative impact.
