Give Awards & Give Points
Give Awards and Give Points allow managers and admins to manually issue awards and points outside of automated workflows. This ensures employees receive the right recognition, even when data or timing errors occur.
When to Give Manual Awards
- Manually issuing service awards or special recognitions.
- Providing immediate redemption opportunities without waiting for automated triggers.
- Correcting errors (e.g., hire date saved incorrectly, missed milestone).
How It Works
- Access recognition options:
- Click Recognition on the Wall page
- Or choose the preferred action under Create a Post.
- Choose to “Post privately” if you want to.
- Search and add the recipient in the +Add Users bar.
- Select the award or points that should be issued. (Optionally,) write a Recognition Story.
- Confirm the details and click Give Award or Give Points.
What Happens Next
- All recipients are notified via inbox, email, or push notification.
- Recognition posts on the wall (if public).
- Team members can react, comment, and applaud.
- Recognition ties directly to your company’s mission and values.
Best practice: Focus on the collective impact while calling out individual contributions when possible.
