How to Set Up Following & Filter Preferences
Following and filters help you personalize your recognition feed. You can focus on colleagues, departments, or locations most relevant to your work, making recognition easier to follow in large organizations.
Steps to Set Up Following & Filters
- Go to the Following section in the platform.
- Click Setup when first enabling the feature.
- Choose how you want to follow people:
- By location (same office or region)
- By department (same function or team)
- Select preferences:
- Follow all people in a department
- Or add individuals and specific departments
- Apply filters:
- Location filters (e.g., Grand Rapids, West Michigan)
- Department filters
- Following filter to show only posts from people you selected
- Customize your News Feed:
- Recognition sent/received by followed people
- Reduce information overload in large organizations
- Tailor the platform to your work relationships
