FAQ About Be Well Dashboard

Do leaderboards count steps taken before a challenge started?
No. Leaderboards only count steps taken during the challenge dates.

What is the Pacer rabbit?
The Pacer rabbit is a pacing marker that always appears at the top of the leaderboard. It moves by the daily step goal amount to help you gauge whether you're on track to reach the challenge's total step goal.

I'm not in the top 10 — can I still see my ranking?
Yes. If you're outside the top 10, the leaderboard shows your position below the top 10, along with the participant or team directly ahead of and behind you.

How is a team's leaderboard score calculated?
By aggregate average. Each day, the team's total reported steps are divided by the number of members, and the daily averages are added together across the challenge. A non-contributing member lowers the team's average.

What happens to team steps when a member leaves or joins?
A member who leaves takes that day's steps with them, but their contributions to previous days' averages still count. A member who joins an established team only contributes steps from their join date forward.

Why doesn't my team page show our challenge progress?
The team page shows stats from your team's creation date, not challenge-specific progress. To see challenge progress, open the challenge page rather than the team page.

Why don't my challenge report numbers look final?
Challenge stats aren't final until 48 hours after the challenge end date. Before then, the report lists the challenge as Active and figures may change as participants edit entries. Once the Final Tally runs, the challenge is listed as Completed.

What does the Percent Change column mean?
It compares the first third of a period to the last third. A negative value means fewer steps in the final third; a positive value means more.

Where do my downloaded reports go?
Reports are emailed to you (check Spam/Junk/Other) and a download link is also posted to the Home tab — refresh the page after requesting one. Large files may take a few minutes.
