FAQ About Be Recognized Features

What is the difference between Wall and My Wall?

Both display company-wide recognition activity, but Wall lets you create new posts (Recognition, Awards, Points, Announcements, eCards) and includes tools like the Approval Queue and Team Dashboard. My Wall is your personal view, showing the same feed but with panels specific to you (points to spend/give, awards, orders). You can engage with posts but not create them.

How do I know which recognition option to use?

Recognition levels and nomination categories include descriptions that provide guidance on when it's appropriate to recognize. Use points or awards for measurable contributions. Use eCards or wall posts for personal, timely appreciation.

Can I recognize more than one person at a time?

Yes. Use group recognition to celebrate teams or multiple individuals in one post.

Are eCards public or private?

You choose. eCards can be posted publicly on the wall or sent privately to the recipient.

What happens after I send recognition?

Recipients are notified instantly. Posts appear on the recognition wall if you selected public visibility.

Can I edit or delete recognition once sent?

This depends on your program configuration and role-based permissions. If you made a mistake, contact your admin or manager to request removal.

What is the Approval Queue?

It’s where managers or admins review nominations. They can approve, decline, or adjust awards and points.

How do Points Boosts work?

Managers or designated users can add extra points to existing recognition to highlight exceptional contributions.

Can I celebrate anniversaries through Be Recognized?

Yes. Anniversaries can be celebrated via any of the recognition features. Specific functionality for automated and on-demand service awards is also available.

Who can upload Mass Points?

Only admins. They use a template file to award points to large groups or the whole company.
